Jola Mroszczyk, UK – Artist name Yo La

I was born in Poland in 1967,where I attended Art School .I later moved to England where i began to express my passion for art, which led me to paint on almost everything. Soon this little hobby turned into a job where i began face-painting, portrait photography and creating decorative glass. Finally, as my art began to expand i discovered a new way of publicizing my work: SAATCHI ART. It was thanks to this site where i was invited to cooperate in fashion design with director of Art On Fashion ,Celine Magill . Since then, my spare time has been devoted to creating art on paper (actually on everything) and pc and selling it, in the hopes that someone will find an interesting creation of mine and not only buy it but admire it. As a painter and photographer I most feel sensual colorist. I took part in the contest London Fringe Photography Award 2010 where I was a finalist ( London Photography) I like to smile; a lot… at least that’s what my kids tell me. When I’m not busy ‘saving the world’ or ‘being awesome’, I spend my time working as a face painter and photographer. My family is my greatest passion and to whom I contribute most of my time. Also, cooking is one of my arts (Just ask my family) I’m the type of artist who likes to seize opportunities and make the most of every day. Above all else, I value honesty and kindness in a person. ——– ARTIST STATEMENT——– My art comes from the need in my soul for a deeper reflection on life . In portraying life’s beauty and goodness. I want to express myself -my reflections and visions. For me art is more than a unique life philosophy-it is a combination of life’s essence and existentialism. My inspiration is derived from nature and its most dynamic component :humans.Through observation of nature-both it’s micro and macrocosms -I discover a variety of forms ,structures and color .Every one of my art pieces becomes a part of me ,thus carrying with itself an array of emotions. While working with painting and photography I tend to move away from the actual forms and let my emotions dictate the mood of the piece. Through the creation of my own world in art ,I hope to discover the hidden ones of my patrons.
