Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia in 1969.

First encounter with photography at the age of 13 attending after school photography classes.

Studied Economy and Sociology but after two years of studies found not much interests in the subjects.

In 1991 left Yugoslavia and lived in several European countries but decided to settle in the most liberal of them all, in the Netherlands, back in 1996.

Immediately started working for Henk Schiffmacher in the ‘Tattoo Museum Amsterdam’ as a ‘house’ photographer and worked there until its closing in the year of 2000.
